Count Leo Tolstoy

"Only those live who do good."

-Count Leo Tolstoy

You cannot live a life if you never accomplish anything. Count Leo Tolstoy was very wise and reading this you can see the way he thought. Why live a life where you do nothing productive and you are always choosing the wrong. A healthy lifestyle is better than a destructive one. You wouldn't really understand life as a whole by always doing bad things and taking the easy way out of everything. Living life and being able to accomplish many things is a life that would be better for everyone. A life where everyone is committed to always doing the right thing and understanding how to properly live your life would be great. Unfortunately life is not like that, life can be very harsh and difficult but it takes a person with a straight forward mind to be able to overcome the obstacles that cross our paths. The understanding of life could be so much better than what its thought to be. We should always live the right way and stay away from anything that will harm us then or later in our lives.

ALBERT EINSTEIN

"What's right isn't always popular. What's popular isn't always right."

Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein has always been a person who is easy to look up to. He was a person who had seemed to figure out the way of life. Everything he says sounds right in a sensible matter, We all know that most of the things that are popular to a person my age are not always right and more known to be illegal or something that'll lead to some other thing just as bad. We of course always go after anything known or "popular" as we say. The choice is within us because no one has the power to tell you what to do, we can be peer pressured or talked into doing things we might not be completely comfortable with. We each as a person have the ability to say no and to think for ourselves because there is no one who will make you do something. Out parents have authority to tell us what to do and to forbid us from doing many things but even then the only person who has complete power over you is you. We have to be smart and think about situations very careful because many times things seem easier or even right because of how much we come to overthink situations like these.

A Choice: Poverty or Prosperity

"I hated poverty. Poverty is more of a choice than anything else, and i can change that (poverty). It depends upon how hard i want to work, and i decided i would change it." - Dr. Ben Carson

Dr. Ben Carson in my opinion is a great man, I have been aboard with him on his journey of being a neurosurgeon and have always been impressed with his work and what he has accomplished. Now he is a retired neurosurgeon and a candidate for the Republican nomination for President of the United States. Each individual is born into a life they have no choice in, it is up to them to then find ways of changing anything they do not like in their lifestyle. For one poverty, i believe that no one is a fan of poverty and no one would enjoy living a life like that therefore it is in their hands to find a way into changing and evolving from that. Dr. Ben Carson has a point, he claims he hated reading books as a young boy but he soon then discovered that books were his key and way into becoming more intelligent, he as many others realized that reading books is feeding yourself with knowledge, and who does not love a good book? He knew that he had the power in his hands to change anything he did not approve about his life, and with this we hope many others realize that they have the same power in theirs. The journey to your new life is difficult and no one will tell you otherwise, but the outcome will be great for you and those who you choose to surround you.

Presidents Day

Presidents Day is a national holiday celebrated on the third Monday of February. Presidents Day is a day made to honor all presidents that have lead our country to greatness, Presidents Day also was originally established to be celebrated on February 22nd which was George Washington's day of birth. To honor our presidents on this day we can do several things that show appreciation towards them as to cooking foods our president liked, visit presidents memorial centers, go to historical museums regarding the past leaders of out country, visit historical lakes and rivers, and mainly be a good citizen. In many pictures regarding Presidents Day our presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln will appear because both their birthdays happened to be in the month of February although George Washington is seen more because he was our first president.

"You can't be right by doing wrong; you can't be wrong by doing right"

Thomas S. Monson

As long as you do what is right everything will be good. You cannot do wrong it is simply too complicated and a hassle. Why would anyone choose to do wrong when doing right is always better and easier. To those who do wrong, why would you put yourself in this situation where everything is much more complicated and worse for yourself when you can do right and live a happy life where you keep everyone within being happy as well. Some people like complicated and that is okay you can just challenge yourselves with doing something right instead.

"Enthusiasm makes the difference."

-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Enthusiasm is what makes up a situation. The way someone approaches an incident makes up how the incident will take place. If someone decides to head out to school being excited and eager to learn everything will fall into its place because we are already making the best of it. On the other hand if someone else is nagging about going to school and is heading towards it with a bad attitude everything will turn out bad because they are already having a bad outcome of it with having to go to school. Attitude is what determines how things will go. One cannot say they are going to have a good day approaching everything with a bad attitude because their day will just start heading down hill from there. Someone will not have a bad day if they are eager to get going with activities and so on. You can choose how your day will go simply with the attitude you are giving to the situation as a whole.

Reflection: This job looks really interesting because it has to do with looking further into ones blood and other bacteria. I would probably not consider this job because it doesnt really fit my interest but it would be cool so see into it a bit. This job is good because it helps people determine certain illnesses or to be cautious because they can be affected my bacteria easily.
