Class / Self Evaluation

This class has had a great impact on my life so far. Each day i would have this class it would encourage me to always do and try my best. One thing i will always take with me from this class would be my ctr card it is a reminder of always choosing the right and doing the right. I really liked that Mr. Haymore would always greet us with a smile on his face, whats best than to start your day off with an act of kindness something as simple as saying good morning with a smile on your face could make someone else's day better. I know that at first i would not do my very best in this class but once i got comfortable with this class i was always determined to do the very best i could do. There is not much to do because this class is great as it is. I really like this class because i believe that it has such a great control on the life of teens by encouraging them do always do whats right and influence others to do the same. I am committed to being a CTR person because nothing good ever comes from doing bad, i believe choosing the right will always encouraging you to doing so much more you are capable of doing and always know that you can be the one to make a better change to the world. Choosing the right is something i will forever take with me and encourage the ones i love and those who surround me to making the world a better place. Choosing the right is the key to a great life

RIGHT

Nothing is better than being happy with yourself and knowing you have done the right thing. Doing whats wrong will always be the easiest thing to do, but it takes a brave individual to face life and chose to keep doing right. You break a vase instead of hiding it or blaming it on someone else you face the consequences and do right revealing it was you. Why would you blame anyone else for your mistake that will provide everyone with evidence that you are an immature human being who chooses to blame his bad on a innocent person. You come across you friend stealing money from his mom, you should encourage him into putting it back and if that does not work you do whats right and let his mother know of her child's mistake although your friend could become angry with you his mother will appreciate your honesty and maybe the friend will come around and start doing right as well. Doing right will not always be easy but it will always be the best thing to do. Obstacles are always at hand but it takes a great person to face reality as well as consequences and still choose to continue doing the best they can.

Fear

Fear is nothing else but an obstacle that stands in the way of progress. You could accomplish anything once you learn how to put fear aside. Although many people use fear to get themselves back to doing whats right. If you are doing wrong you begin to fear of the consequences that come within, but if you are doing the right thing as you should always be doing there really is no need to fear. Why chose the wrong and use fear as a call back to do what is right. Doing what is right is always the solution to everything and anything. There really is not any other alternative to get out of a bad situation than to chose the right and face the consequences. I am a CTR person i always do my best to live a CTR life. I certainly do not let fear come in between my accomplishments and i do not use it as a wake up call to notify me i am choosing the wrong. Fear is nothing more than a bad wake up call.

The point to these questions is a personal reflection to see if you complete to meet these standards. This is a way of seeing where you stand in life being and being honest with yourself to answer these questions truthfully. Personally i answered yes to all these questions and i am glad i will be a successful person if i continue to do this. Once in a while you can ask yourself these questions to make sure you are doing the right thing. This can be used for other people to make sure everyone is doing their best to meet these expectations. If someone fails to answer all yes to these questions you can talk to them and lead them back onto the right path. Doing than will make you feel happy with yourself knowing you are helping someone out. It is better to always do whats right for you and those around you. These questions can be shared with everyone to help make the world a batter place and to make sure you are doing all you can to help anyone who you come across. Always CTR, this is a great example of doing so.

Physical Fitness

This quote is well said and could be understood by the point given, but it could also be further looked into and realize that it is not all agreeable. Physical fitness is very important and I can see all the reasons why it is to. The mind is an incredible thing and each is very different the mind is powerful by itself and one does not need to be fit to know how to think. All people are different and not everyone has the ability to be able to be physically fit, it could be a very difficult obstacle to face and overcome. Quotes such as these often make people believe they have to be as everyone wants them to in order to be successful and accepted. Not everyone is healthy nor fit but they do have the ability to think of great things without meeting such standards. I can see the point that was meant to be given but it really is not the best.

United Kingdom

The place I chose is the one seen above, the United Kingdom. I have always thought that the UK is very beautiful and it has always been a place where I would like to visit someday. The interest began because many of the bands I would listen to were originally from the United Kingdom; I looked further into it and came to see how interesting I found this place to be. The UK is made up of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, is an island nation in northwestern Europe. The reason it is called an island is because it is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. Its ethnic groups are White, Asian, Indian, Pakistani, Bangladeshi, Black, and Caribbean. The religion most seen is throughout this country is Christian. The anthem of the UK is “God Save the Queen”. I have always found the accent of the British to be unique and it has always grabbed by attention as well as the country as well. While here I would like to visit the Stonehenge, the Windsor Castle, the Blackpool Tower, the Buckingham palace, The Palace of Westminster, the London Eye, and the St. Paul’s Cathedral. This place has always been somewhere i would love to visit for etc reasons.

This all has to do with choosing the right and it makes perfect sense. If you hear a rumor or anything that you are unsure if it is true or not do not repeat it or spread it around even more it should not concern you because you do not know whether it is true. If you know that doing something is choosing the wrong why would you do it. Nothing will come from it besides guilt in between. Each person should always do what they know to be the right thing. It is simple to live a lifestyle of always doing the right thing. You will get nothing but greatness from choosing the right. 

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving Day is a national holiday celebrated in Canada and the United States as a day of giving thanks for the blessing of the harvest and of the preceding year. The word evokes images of football, family reunions, roasted turkey with stuffing, pumpkin pie and, of course, the Pilgrims and Wampanoag, the acknowledged founders of the feast.

You can never go wrong when you ctr. whether you are in a tough situation or not ctr is always the best thing do. why would you want to lie to those who admire you as a person. telling one lie will be backed up with another, this process is the worse because when you realize what you have done there will be no way out that will have an outcome in your word. even is the wrong is chosen be brave enough to let others know what you have done wrong if it involves them. Choosing the right always has positive feedback and you could become a role model to any siblings or family members you have, then everyone will continue to ctr and live a wonderful life.

This is something that should always be remembered because it will lead you the right way. You should always do the right thing just because its the right thing, you need no other reason to do the right thing. Here and there we have our slips and ctw but we always try to ctr so we face up to what we have done and come with honesty. Having courage to say no is something everyone should have, being peer pressured is not enjoyable and saying no could be nerve wrecking but always saying to will make you feel proud of yourself.

Health Sciences Librarian

Duties and Responsibilities: In the area of collection development, the Research Librarian for the Health Sciences will be responsible for the selection, assessment, and management of collections and resources that support the School of Medicine.

Salary: $58,000

Education: Complete a 4-year baccalaureate program in any discipline they choose. Majors for health science librarians include biology, library sciences, management, or health information. Master's degree required of Library and Information Science.

Reflection: Personally I would not like to be a Health Sciences Librarian because I’d rather be doing many of other things. I don’t feel like this is my type of job because I am not one to do research I often get bored of them.

Veterans Day

What is Veterans Day?

This holiday is a public holiday held on the anniversary of the end of World War I. As well as to honor US veterans and victims of all wars.

When is Veterans Day?

November 11

What is the purpose?

To honor any Veteran who fought in any war.

Why is it important to show honor?

To thank the veterans who fought.

Ways to show honor,

1)  Place flowers/flags on the graves of veterans.

2)  Proudly display your American flag.

3)  Help a homeless Veteran through VA services.

4)  Order a pizza.  On 11/11/11 for every order placed, Papa John's will donate $1 to the USO.

5)  Visit a local retirement home and chat with some elderly veterans who will share their stories.

6)  Volunteer at a VA Hospital.

7)  Send a care package through Operation Gratitude

8)  Donate a stuffed animal so that Operation Gratitude can create a "Battalion buddy" to children of deployed soldiers.

9)  Send your left over Halloween candy to soldiers.

10)  When you see a soldier boarding your fully booked flight, offer them your window or aisle seat

Reflection

I believe that Veterans Day is a great and honorable holiday. It is great to show respect to any Veteran who fought in any war just to show that we thank them for what they did. It is great to think how happy this makes those Veterans feel to show they are not forgotten. Just to imagine a smile on their faces not ashamed of how they came back. No further more Veterans Day is simply great.

Shall be wise

Thou shall always choose to surround themselves with the wise. A wise surrounding will always be better and more productive than the others. Why would you want to surround oneself with fools knowing you will get nothing good from it. Not often is it seen a fool with a wise job, or saying never instead. To be wise will always be better than to being a fool. Always choose to be wise it would be the wise thing to do. Why be a fool when you can be something great in life.

To do good is always the thing to do. Doing good adds more positive feels to your life. To do good will always get you somewhere better in life than to do bad. Doing bad will provide you with more negativity than you would already have. To do good will always make you feel proud and happy. Doing good will also rub off on your family and the people whom which surround you.Being happy is always better than being sad. You can live a happy life always choosing the right or a sad life where everything is wrong.To do good will always be the best thing to do. Good will always be the answer to everything.

I believe peter is a very determined person who will do what it wakes to get to where he wants to be. Peter did very well in the Olympics and even got a perfect 10! That is amazing. Peter is someone to look up to (although he is not very tall himself:). Peter Vidmar is someone i want to be like so i can accomplish all i want and get to where i want to be just like him. From now on i will do my best and follow his secret to success to be very successful in my life.

Healthcare Administrator

Duties and responsibilities: Health administration or healthcare administration is the field relating to

leadership, management, and administration of public health systems, health care systems, hospitals, and hospital networks.

Salary: $64,821 

Education: Many colleges and universities are offering a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, a master's degree is considered for most health administrators in the United States. Degrees such as the Doctor of Philosophy in Health Administration and the Doctor of Health Administration are required for this placement.

 

Reflection: Personally in my opinion this is a fine just although this job isn’t for me. I’d like a job that does not require me to help people because I don’t consider myself to be a helpful person at all times.

Noemi makes perfect sense because overall you are the only person that can and should choose for you. You are the person who determines your life and if you choose the right all the time you will be a very successful CTR human. This will later pay off through out your life. IF you CTR You will do the right. What is life if not like this? You can and will determine your future.

(ENT) Specialist

Duties and responsibilities: Ear, nose and throat specialists (ENT) Doctors and otolaryngologists, specialize in otolaryngology. Otolaryngologists diagnose, manage and treat disorders of the head and neck.

Salary: $302,500 a year.

Education:

-       Undergraduate degree

-       Medical degree

-       3 years of otolaryngology residency, plus 1 year of general surgery training, and another additional year of training for a total of 5 years of residency training

Reflection:  This job is pretty sick and all but it’s not my exact preference. It’s cool what they do and how they do it. This is a great future. I don’t think I would go through with studying this because I wouldn’t like examining people because I would end up bored or annoyed of the same thing.

                                  Choice

This is exactly what success is. Choice is pretty much everything we have in life. Everything in life should be a choice because it is technically all we have left in the end. This is our life and we should be able to choose what we want to do about it. Stein said well in this quote of his, this is what we acknowledge and inter vain him for. Over all this is what we do. We choose to do successful things that we will success with or we choose to do nothing and success with nothing.

Obedience will always be there, you can be against it or with it. Throughout time you will realize that working with obedience will be far more easy than being against it. Obedience will make your life easy and for-fill it with many opportunities. Obedience its kind of similar to a life hack, it will make everything easy and you wont even feel like you're working as hard as you really are. Eventually you will realize that all you have to do in life is obey until you get where you want to be, and even then you will be so used to obeying that it will stick with you for the rest of your life. I can easily relate to this because when you obey your parents you gain their trust and you can continue enjoying life and always choosing the right!

There is no better way of saying it, what else to do besides choosing the right. Choose the right you will do the right and you will feel right. you cannot not choose the right and expect yourself to be doing right. ALWAYS CTR.

Dermatologist

Duties and responsibilities:  Diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases or other conditions of the skin. Diagnose and treat skin conditions such as acne, dandruff, athlete's foot, moles, and skin cancer.

Salary: $283,00

Education: College, bachelor's degree .Medical school, becoming a medical doctor and to participate in a Dermatology residency program, at least 3 years.

Reflection: This job is very important for those who work in this and those who depend on this. It is interesting to see the type of conditions people have but this job isn’t for me because i would not want to work with people and their skin type.

This quote makes perfect sense but in my opinion it might not be 100% always true. Being obedient is the key of life and that is true but it will not always end in happiness. You will obey anything you are told but it might not always be what makes you happy you can have a different idea of what it is that you want to do with your life. Do good feel good, do bad feel bad.

Cannabis critic

Duties and responsibilities: In order to become a critic of this sort you need to be familiar with the substance. You’d need to have or had an encounter with this.

Salary:  $37,000

Education: Creative writing degree

 Reflection: this job is really interesting because of what it works with but I am not sure if this is an exact CTR job although it is helpful to the ones in need.

You will always feel right when you do the right, always its a pleasuring feeling when you know you did the right thing, which indicates once you do something bad and don't come clean about it your conscious will over power you into doing the right. the feeling of knowing you're doing right will make you want to do it all the time, within time you will always be doing the right and will be living like a CTR person.

Reflection: I agree that obedience is the key to freedom although not just obedience brings freedom to oneself. Obedience is well very much freedom although it could be Pleasure, Happiness and Allowing god into our daily lives.

Obedience has a significance that can be referred to as so much but in reality it is and will be your final test. This word just like the whole quote can be summed up to mean so much it'll change your perspective.

Cardiologist

Duties and responsibilities:

Cardiologists are physicians who have received additional training to prevent, diagnose and treat conditions of the cardiovascular system, which includes the heart and the body's blood vessels.

            Salary:

 $512,000

            Education:

Doctoral degree in medicine; completion of a residency program in internal medicine and cardiology

            Reflection:

This job seems interesting but not really for me. Its nice but personally its not something I would like to do

Acupuncture 

Duties and responsibilities: 

An acupuncturist is a health care worker trained in using acupuncture to treat a variety of disorders. Acupuncture, a traditional Chinese medical art practiced for more than 5,000 years, involves inserting fine needles at points on the body's surface to influence physiological functions.  

Salary: 

$41,100 - $144,380 depending on their work station. 

Education: 

Entry into the field of acupuncture requires a master's degree in acupuncture and state licensing. Students seeking enrollment into an acupuncture program should have a background in medicine, biology, psychology or neurobiology. 

 

Reflection: 

Acupuncturist have a neat job helping others find somewhat of a comfort zone, personally I would not like to become one because I don’t appreciate much physical contact with other beings.
