"Enthusiasm makes the difference."

-Dr. Norman Vincent Peale

Enthusiasm is what makes up a situation. The way someone approaches an incident makes up how the incident will take place. If someone decides to head out to school being excited and eager to learn everything will fall into its place because we are already making the best of it. On the other hand if someone else is nagging about going to school and is heading towards it with a bad attitude everything will turn out bad because they are already having a bad outcome of it with having to go to school. Attitude is what determines how things will go. One cannot say they are going to have a good day approaching everything with a bad attitude because their day will just start heading down hill from there. Someone will not have a bad day if they are eager to get going with activities and so on. You can choose how your day will go simply with the attitude you are giving to the situation as a whole.
